A Day in My Life With My 3-Year-Old CEO
A Day in My Life With My 3-Year-Old CEO
Some people wake up to alarms.
I wake up to a tiny boss who announces every morning:
“Mama, I decide.”
Keyla is only 3, but she runs this house with full confidence. I just follow instructions so we avoid unnecessary drama before breakfast.
Breakfast is basically a business meeting.
If I say “oatmeal,” she says:
“No mama. Today we eat… ICE.”
Not ice cream.
Just ice.
(I pretend to think about it so I don’t start World War III at 9am.) Then she supervises me like a professional manager. “Stir it like this.” “Not that spoon!” “More milk.” “STOP. Enough milk!” This girl is ready to run a company.
The whole day continues like this. She talks nonstop and tells me, “I do it MYSELF.” Five minutes later:
“Mama help… just a little.”
She “cleaned” once used the mop for 7 seconds and said,
“I’m tired. Mama do it.”
She “cooked” water, air, a cracker, and an onion.
Then with a proud face told me to taste it.
I pretended to sip like it was Michelin-star food.
“Wow baby, MasterChef!”
If I try to work, she appears like a tiny supervisor:
“Mama look. LOOK. Look AGAIN.”
If you don’t look immediately?
We fight.
Evenings are the sweetest. She gives me a full “press conference” about her day. Half the story doesn’t make sense, but I clap anyway because the confidence is elite.
Before bed she hugs me tight and says:
“Good night mama. Tomorrow I decide again.”
And honestly… I believe her.
Life with my 3-year-old CEO is chaotic, loud, funny, and full of love and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
π¬ Your Turn!
Do your kids also act like tiny CEOs?
What funny things do they do at home?
I’d love to read your stories drop them in the comments! π✨
